Regular · 20/30 px

Compass Sans takes its shapes from the circle and the square, then corrects them by eye so the round letters do not look smaller than the straight ones. Nine weights run from Thin to Black, each with an italic that leans at nine degrees. The family is on sale at its launch price until the end of the year.

About Compass Sans

The word TAXI painted in large yellow letters on asphalt
Compass Sans Bold painted on a road.

Compass Sans is the widest range in the catalog: nine weights, Thin to Black, each with an italic. Thin and ExtraLight are for large sizes only; Regular to Bold do the daily work; ExtraBold and Black are for logos, labels and short headlines.

The geometry is corrected throughout. Round letters overshoot the baseline, the joins of n and m are thinned so they do not clot, and the t is cut at an angle so it sits well in short words.

The alternate forms set swaps in a single-story a and a straight-tailed y. Switch it on in the tester to compare.
