These are the sheets used in the foundry’s evening lettering class. Print them at home, put tracing paper over them and work with a pencil or a broad-nib pen.
The set has guideline sheets at three x-heights, skeleton capitals and lowercase to trace, and spacing drills (minimum, hamburgefonstiv) that show how even rhythm comes from the white space between letters.
